About Me
Hello! My name is Jessica Zagst, I am currently a Graphic Designer at Berenson Corp. I graduated college in 2020 from Daemen College with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
In my current role, I work on the Marketing Team on a variety of projects including digital and print media. I help to create assets for tradeshows, develop display materials, and design literature for use by the Sales team. I help research trends for product development and social media. I work with the team to ensure all materials are accurate and up-to-date.
As much as I love graphic design, I also love the fine arts. Outside of the office, painting is my main creative outlet; I love painting nature and recently have been vibing with modern impressionism. I’m always down to try a new hobby or craft, such as buying a Cricut off of Facebook Marketplace to see what the hype is all about or learning to crochet a blanket on a whim.
I believe I am what my high school English teacher calls a "culture vulture", one who loves to seek out new cultures and experiences; I love theater, music, and poetry, and I appreciate every opportunity I have to incorporate these things into my art. I became interested in graphic design in high school when I joined the yearbook club; I loved doing the layouts and creating spreads based on our theme for that year.
